Every game has its own community, tournament format, and betting markets. Pick the title you know best.
If you're already the type who sits in front of a screen watching MPL Malaysia matches or tunes into DOTA 2 The International live streams at midnight, you're already halfway to being a solid esports bettor. Knowledge of teams, players, and the game meta is a valuable edge that most conventional bettors simply don't have — and that's the unique advantage esports fans bring when they bet on kiss981.
Esports betting in Malaysia is nothing new. The local gaming community has long placed friendly wagers among friends while watching matches together. What kiss981 does is provide a safe, structured, and fair platform to channel that passion into something more formal — with full player protections in place.
What sets the esports betting experience at kiss981 apart from other platforms is the depth of markets on offer. It goes well beyond just picking a match winner — you can bet on Map Handicap, Total Kills in DOTA 2, Pistol Round Winner in CS2, First Blood, Baron/Dragon Nashor in League of Legends, and much more. This gives players who truly understand the nuances of each game far more opportunities to put that knowledge to work.
Below is a snapshot of the esports matches typically available on kiss981. Odds are updated in real time and may change as kick-off approaches.

Kiss981 offers far more than just "who wins" for esports. More specific markets give players who truly understand the game a real opportunity to put their knowledge to use.

If you've bet on traditional sports before, the process for esports on kiss981 is much the same. If this is your first time betting live, this guide will take you from zero to ready in just a few minutes.
Create a new account at kiss981 — all you need is your name, phone number, and a password. Once your OTP is verified, your account is instantly active. Make your first deposit via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX through Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. Minimum deposit is just RM10.
From the kiss981 main menu, select "E-Sukan" or "Esports". You'll see a full list of titles available today — MLBB, DOTA 2, CS2, Valorant, LoL, and more. Each title shows the number of upcoming matches along with their respective start times.
This is the most important step. Stick to titles you genuinely know — don't bet on CS2 if you've never watched professional matches or don't follow the current meta. Your understanding of teams and players is your biggest advantage at kiss981.
New players are encouraged to start with Match Winner, the easiest market to understand. Once you're more comfortable, move on to Map Handicap or Total Maps. Markets like First Blood and Total Kills require a deeper understanding of each team's playstyle on kiss981.
Click on the odds of your choice, enter your stake in RM on the bet slip, and check the potential return calculated automatically. Confirm your bet before the cut-off time — usually 5 minutes before the match starts. Once confirmed, simply wait for the match result.
Watch the match via the official streaming platform while keeping track of the action. Winnings are credited directly to your kiss981 account automatically. For select matches, in-play betting is available so you can add to or adjust your position while the game is still in progress.
There's no denying it — Malaysia has one of the most active gaming communities in Southeast Asia. With high internet penetration, affordable yet powerful smartphones, and a generation that grew up with video games as part of daily life, esports is far from the "lazy person's hobby" it's sometimes made out to be. It's a multi-billion-dollar global industry, and Malaysia is very much part of it.
Every MPL Malaysia season draws hundreds of thousands of viewers from across the country. Axiata Arena has been packed with fans who came specifically to watch the MPL grand final live. Teams like Geek Fam and RSG Malaysia aren't just known within the local gaming scene — they've competed on the international stage at MSC and the M-Series. This is a serious sport, complete with professional players, coaches, and a fully developed supporter ecosystem.
This is where kiss981 comes in — a platform that connects the passion of Malaysia's esports fans with responsible betting. You're not just "watching" your favourite matches anymore; you can actively get involved with bets backed by your in-depth knowledge of local teams. And when your analysis pays off, the reward is genuinely satisfying.
From a betting perspective, esports has several advantages over traditional sports. For one, all match statistics are publicly available and easy to access — head-to-head records, hero/agent win rates in the current meta, individual player stats, and full match histories. This is information you can actually use to make more informed decisions at kiss981.
Second, the meta in esports shifts regularly with game patches and updates, and teams that adapt quickest to a new meta tend to gain a significant edge. Players who actively follow MLBB or DOTA 2 patch notes can anticipate power shifts between teams well before others do — and that translates into a real advantage when betting on the kiss981 platform.

Unlike traditional sports, esports has several unique characteristics to factor in when making betting decisions on kiss981. The following guide draws on feedback from experienced players within the Malaysian esports community.
Focus on mastering one or two titles in depth rather than spreading your bets thinly across every game. If you've spent five years playing and watching MLBB, put that knowledge to use on kiss981. Don't suddenly start betting on CS2 just because the odds look attractive if you don't understand the current meta.
Every new patch can drastically shift the meta. Heroes or agents that were overpowered before the patch may have been nerfed. Teams that relied on specific strategies might need time to adapt. Players who know this before the odds are updated on kiss981 can find real value.
Player transfers in esports happen frequently, especially heading into a new season. Teams that lose a key carry or experienced support player typically need time to find their footing again. At kiss981, odds for teams with a recently reshuffled roster may not yet fully reflect this reality.
E-sports teams playing back-to-back matches in quick succession often show a drop in performance due to mental and physical fatigue. This is especially noticeable during intensive playoff stages. At kiss981, the "fatigue" factor can significantly influence your betting decisions.
